Fruit Stand

This has been my obsession for the weekend.  Fruit Cloths!  When I made the Spring cloths (which I love to pieces) they had a purpose.  Easter gifts for Mom-in-Law and step-mom-in-law.  I have no idea what to do with these, but they had to be made.  My husband keeps asking why I am knitting more and I don't have an answer for him.

They are quick and bright and the patterns are cute as can be.  That is my answer.  I just keep them stashed away until I have someone to give them to.   I've completed the apple, pineapple, watermelon, cherries, grapes, banana and orange.  There is a strawberry drying on the counter and a pear which I have yet to knit.

hubby much prefers the retro esthetic of the ballband dishcloths I showed you in an earlier post.  Both of those are done now too.

I'm still working on March's blanket square and need to cast-on a sock for a dear friend's up coming birthday.  You know I need to start that early.  I always dread the second sock.
