Pecan Wheat Bread

I started baking more bread during my work hiatus.  I have a book called "Bread" by Beth Hensperger.  It's from 1988 and I can't find the book to link to, but if I were to buy another book by her it may be this one.

The pictures are gorgeous and beyond that the recipes are great.  I've made about 5-6 different ones and I haven't found a bad one yet.  Today I made a loaf that I've done a few times.  It's called French Nut Bread and it's basically a yeast wheat bread with your choice of nuts.  The recipe calls for hazelnuts, but I just use what I have around.  Today it was pecans.  It makes a great sandwich loaf and even better toast.  The best part is that it makes 2 large loaves, so I was able to give one to our new neighbors and keep one for us.  YEA!
